Job summary

Corvus LLC seeks an experienced Part 135 Chief Pilot to lead and support expansion of our helicopter operations across the western United States. The role combines hands-on flying with operational oversight, requiring strong leadership and regulatory expertise.

The successful candidate will manage flight operations under FAR Part 119/135, oversee pilot qualifications, and work closely with maintenance, safety, and management to ensure readiness and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience managing pilots or flight crews
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to train, mentor, and standardize pilots in procedures
• Experience overseeing pilot qualifications and operational readiness

Responsibilities

• Serve as Chief Pilot under FAR 119
• Oversee flight operations under Parts 91, 133, 135, and 137
• Maintain and update GOM, OpSpecs, SOPs, and docs
• Manage pilot training, qualifications, and scheduling
• Coordinate with maintenance, safety, and operations management
• Support and participate in the SMS
• Conduct operational flying including utility, firefighting, external load, aerial application, reclamation, wildlife operations, and charter missions
