Job summary

Christwood is seeking a Director of Christwood Foundation to provide vision and leadership, guiding fund development, donor relations, and community engagement. You will ensure accountability and stewardship, and work with the CEO, board, staff, residents, and partners to elevate philanthropy across the organization.

Qualifications include CFRE preferred, 5 years of fundraising experience with 3 years in leadership roles, and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

• College degree, advanced degree or CFRE preferred.
• 5 years non-profit fund raising; 3 years in a key leadership/management role in a non-profit fundraising setting.
• Extensive knowledge of foundation management, fundraising principles and programs.
• Proficient in public speaking and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff and volunteers to institutionalize philanthropy and fund development.
• Develop and implement donor-centered strategies to maximize giving.
• Establish and manage donor pipelines and stewardship programs.
• Collaborate with CEO and board to leverage community relationships.
