Job summary

Central Reform Congregation seeks a Director of Philanthropy to lead its fundraising efforts, including AFC, endowment, grants, and year-round giving. You will report to the Executive Director and supervise staff while cultivating donor relationships with CRC’s leadership and congregants.

The role requires senior nonprofit fundraising experience, strategic thinking, and strong collaboration with board members, clergy, and lay leaders to advance CRC’s mission of justice and learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years nonprofit work with at least 3 years in philanthropy.
• Experience organizing donor cultivation and recognition events.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or donor software (DonorPerfect, Raiser's Edge, etc).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Annual Financial Commitment (AFC) campaign and membership renewal.
• Oversee Endowment campaign strategy, donor relations, and stewardship.
• Manage year-round giving, including major gifts and memorial gifts.
• Develop and manage CRC's grant funding from prospecting to reporting.
• Prepare reports for CRC Board and Executive Director; manage budget.
• Supervise staff and collaborate with board, staff, lay leaders and rabbis.
