Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul Georgia (SVdP) seeks a visionary Senior Director of Philanthropy to lead fundraising and development across the state.

You will empower a growing team, expand donor engagement, and drive revenue to fulfill statewide housing, health, food, and wrap-around services. In collaboration with Executive Leadership, you will build data-driven plans, diversify fundraising sources, and create compelling cases of support for major donors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; CFRE preferred.
• 7+ years nonprofit fundraising experience with diverse sources.
• Proven success leading development teams and driving revenue.
• Ability to use data to set strategy, measure outcomes and impact.
• Experience with events, grants, donor stewardship and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Represent SVdP Georgia mission through communications and development strategies aligned with values and strategic plan.
• Design and implement a data-driven development plan to meet or exceed fundraising goals across statewide programs.
• Establish metrics and report results to the Executive Team.
• Collaborate with vendors on donor acquisition and direct response strategies.
• Cultivate relationships with donors, archdiocesan officials, community leaders and elected officials.
• Create and communicate impactful cases of support for major donors.
• Deliver donor communications in writing, verbally, and in person.
• Lead and mentor the development team and coordinate with program directors and the Board.
• Oversee events planning and sponsorship procurement to support strategic objectives.
• Align development activities with the five-year plan and organizational goals.
