Job summary

Children's Home Society of Florida is seeking a Vice President of Development to lead a dedicated fundraising team and expand its impact for children and families across the state. You will steward major gifts, corporate partnerships, and foundation support while developing a multi-year strategy that grows revenue, diversifies philanthropic investments, and ensures long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of progressive fundraising, philanthropy, or business development leadership experience.
• Proven success securing major gifts of a specific $ amount.
• Experience leading high-performing fundraising teams and multi-channel development strategies.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year fundraising strategy that advances CHS's mission and priorities.
• Drive revenue growth through major gifts, corporate partnerships, foundation support, events, and endowment development.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with high-capacity donors and philanthropic leaders.
• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of development professionals committed to excellence and impact.
• Partner with executive leadership, board members, and community stakeholders to connect donors with measurable opportunities.
