Job summary

ROCO seeks a Director of Philanthropy to lead strategic fundraising, with a focus on individual donors and major gifts. You will collaborate with the Managing and Artistic Directors to develop plans, cultivate donor relationships, and expand ROCO's contributed revenue across annual funds, donor consortia, and high-impact events.

This role requires extensive non-profit fundraising experience, relationship-building strength, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, arts-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-profit fundraising/development experience.
• Arts organization experience is a plus; smaller nonprofits preferred.
• Proven track record in direct fundraising, campaigns, and stewardship.
• Strong budgeting and financial literacy.
• Ability to mentor and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Lead ROCO's fundraising strategy with Directors and Board.
• Design and direct all fundraising activities to grow contributed revenue.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward donors at multiple levels.
• Identify new funding opportunities and diversify revenue streams.
• Oversee donor relations, events, and communications; guide moves management.
