Job summary
Gainesville Regional Utilities is seeking a Chief People Officer to provide strategic vision and executive leadership for people strategies aligned with GRU’s mission and objectives. This leader will oversee the Office of People Resources and guide talent, compensation, employee relations, analytics, and policy development.
The CPO will partner with the CEO and GRU leadership to advance organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and workforce capability in a 24/7 utility environment,
Qualifications
- Ten years of progressive HR management experience with executive leadership.
- Experience leading HR in a complex organization, preferably multi-service utility.
- Experience advising executives and senior management on workforce strategy.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for workforce strategies.
- Oversee Office of People Resources and HR services across the organization.
- Develop workforce plans, talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.
- Lead change management initiatives and organizational capability building.
- Use workforce analytics to inform strategic decisions and budgets.
