Job summary

San Francisco Fire Credit Union is seeking an accomplished Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead the transformation of its people strategy and executive HR functions. The CPO will oversee HR and learning & development, talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, and total rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated success in a senior HR leadership role are required.
• Experience leading HR transformation and building people infrastructure in a growing financial institution or similarly regulated organization is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee human resources and learning and development, including talent acquisition and retention, leadership development, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, and total rewards.
• Use technology, data, and workforce insights to guide decision-making; equip leaders to manage effectively; foster an inclusive, collaborative, and accountable culture.
• Serve as a strategic partner to align talent, culture, organizational capabilities, and workforce planning with growth objectives.
• Modernize HR functions and build scalable people practices, programs, and systems to strengthen organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
