Job summary

SXSE Enterprises is a Puerto Rico export services company supporting a family of operating businesses across cannabis, real estate, manufacturing, and software. The Vice President of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition leads HR and recruiting strategy for the United States, Puerto Rico, and Colombia, guiding growth to 500+ employees as new locations open.

The role requires full bilingual capability in English and Spanish, hands-on leadership, and a track record of building scalable HR

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience
• Experience leading HR managers and recruiters at Director level or above
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, written and verbal
• Knowledge of US multi-state and Puerto Rico employment law
• Experience designing and implementing compensation structures and workforce plans
• Experience implementing HR software and ATS/HRIS systems

Responsibilities

• Lead HR and Talent Acquisition with three direct reports
• Set priorities, performance standards, and development plans for the team
• Own the annual HR and recruiting budget
• Advise the CEO and executive team on people-related matters
• Establish and maintain HR policies across entities and jurisdictions
• Own the HR technology stack and automate core processes
