Job summary

Horwitz is seeking a dynamic Director of Human Resources to lead people operations through a period of growth. The role partners with senior leaders to align HR strategy with long-term business goals and oversees talent acquisition, L&D, engagement, compensation & benefits, and regulatory compliance.

We are looking for a visionary leader who can balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution, foster well-being and inclusion, and drive multi-site HR programs across the Midwest.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in construction, engineering, or industrial services.
• Proven track record of leading HR workstreams through the M&A lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience building scalable Learning & Development frameworks from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership and partnership with the CEO and leadership team.
• Oversee talent lifecycle, compensation & benefits, engagement, and HR compliance.
• Champion culture, DEIB, and effective employee relations across multi-site operations.
