Job summary

Tufts Medicine seeks an accomplished VP HR for Community Hospitals to provide strategic human resources leadership across the site. You will shape policies, oversee talent management, labor relations, and workforce planning, and partner with COEs to drive system-wide HR excellence.

You will advise senior leaders, lead organizational design, and manage complex labor relations while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture aligned with Tufts Medicine’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
• Ten years of progressive HR leadership, including at least five years in a senior HR role within a community hospital or complex health system.
• Experience with large-scale transformation, mergers and acquisitions or system integration, focusing on culture and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provides executive HR leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day oversight of site-specific HR operations.
• Advises Community Hospital Presidents and senior leaders on all human capital matters and workforce planning.
• Leads HRBP work across the entity to align HR strategy with site goals.
• Onboards and assimilates senior leaders, guiding culture and stakeholder relationships.
• Oversees Employee & Labor Relations and Leave Administration with best practices and compliance.
• Collaborates with COEs to deliver integrated HR solutions across Talent, Compensation, and Benefits.
• Partners with site executives to promote a high-performing, inclusive culture.
