Job summary

Audiochuck, a roughly 100-person media company headquartered in Indianapolis, seeks a Senior Director / VP, Head of Human Resources to own the HR function. This leader will oversee employee relations, performance management, benefits + compensation architecture, talent acquisition, HR systems and compliance, workplace experience, and leadership development.

The role requires executive partnership with the CEO, candid counsel to senior leaders, and the ability to build a durable HR infrastructure

Qualifications

• Extensive HR leadership experience in fast-growth or founder-led environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and dealing with sensitive matters.
• Proven ability to design and administer compensation structures.
• Experience partnering with outside counsel and managing HRIS workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the HR function end-to-end, including design and governance.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team on organizational design and talent strategy.
• Lead employee relations, performance reviews, and leadership development.
• Oversee compensation architecture, leveling, and banding processes.
• Manage HR operations, compliance, and HRIS data integrity.
• Drive culture, engagement, and program implementation across the company.
• Directly manage the HR Generalist and scale the function with growth.
