Qualifications

• Graduate degree or equivalent professional experience required; Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum five years' experience as a head of human resources with senior leadership partnering.
• Minimum ten years' experience in human resources or related functions.
• Experience in law firm, legal services org, or nonprofit preferred.
• Commitment to the racial justice mission of LDF; data-driven HR operations.
• Knowledge of employment law and compliance in LDF jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong HR capacity and execution; build a capable team.
• Coach and support staff; drive accountability and service quality.
• Implement change management; modernize core HR practices.
• Develop metrics and dashboards for workforce health and engagement.
• Oversee HRIS implementation, data integrity, and payroll coordination.
• Advise on workforce planning, compensation philosophy, and policies.
• Lead professional development and training across managers and staff.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and escalation protocols.
