Job summary

St. Anthony Foundation in San Francisco seeks a Chief People Officer to lead the People team and shape the organization’s workforce and leadership strategy. You will align HR operations, compensation, development, and engagement with the Foundation’s mission and values.

You will partner with the CEO, Board, and management to design systems, analytics, and governance that sustain a high-performing, inclusive workplace for ~250 staff and former guests who become staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, organizational development, or related field.
• At least ten years of progressively responsible HR, talent, or organizational leadership experience.
• Experience building HR systems, processes, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop a multi-year people, talent, and workforce strategy aligned to the Foundation’s plan.
• Advise the CEO, Executive Team, and Board on workforce strategy and leadership recruitment.
• Lead the People team across learning and development, HR operations, benefits, and talent acquisition.
• Coach executives on leadership effectiveness and succession planning; build coaching capability.
• Establish talent review, succession planning, and leadership pipelines; strengthen bench strength.
