Job summary

C3 Industries seeks a Vice President, People & Culture to lead and evolve the enterprise HR function for its multi-state cannabis retail portfolio, cultivation facilities, and corporate operations.

The role partners with executive leadership to drive scalable people strategies, governance, and operational rigor while supporting rapid growth and organizational complexity. Travel and background checks are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• PHR, SPHR or related HR certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience in multi-state retail environment preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with union negotiations and labor strategy.
• Strong financial acumen and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the enterprise HR function across multi-state operations.
• Develop scalable people strategies and governance.
• Oversee workforce planning, labor relations, and compensation strategy.
• Drive HRIS strategy, data governance, and reporting integrity.
• Partner with executives to align HR with EBITDA and business goals.
• Build high-performing HR leadership team and culture.
