Healthy Start Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Director of People & Culture to lead workforce strategy, culture, and people operations in support of our mission to improve maternal and child health.

You will partner with the CEO/COO and leadership team to align HR initiatives with strategic priorities and ensure a positive, inclusive workplace. Responsibilities include shaping talent strategy, overseeing HR administration, enhancing employee engagement, and guiding leadership development while

Competenze

• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable senior HR certification preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressively responsible HR leadership experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Experience advising executive leadership on organizational change initiatives.
• COVID-19 vaccination and required clearances per policy.

• Provide strategic leadership for People & Culture aligned with the organization’s mission, vision and values.
• Oversee day-to-day HR administration including onboarding/offboarding, records, policies, and confidential files.
• Champion a positive workplace culture, employee engagement, retention, belonging and experience.
• Lead workforce planning and succession planning; identify future staffing needs and talent pipelines.
• Coach leaders on performance management, employee relations, and communications.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, risk management, and policy updates.
