Red 6 seeks a seasoned Director of Optics to lead the Optics Department and scale optical engineering for ATARS and next‑gen AR systems. You will define the optics roadmap, drive design reviews, and partner across Product, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure hardware moves from concept to production and field support.

Formación

• MS/PhD in Optical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in optical systems development.
• 5+ years leading optical teams and engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical oversight for ultra-wide FOV AR headset optics.
• Define optics roadmap and architecture across programs.
• Lead design reviews, risk assessment, and supplier engagement.
• Build scalable optics processes, gates, and documentation.
