Star Plastics, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize manufacturing across four locations with ~50% travel.

The role reports to the CEO and requires hands-on, strategic leadership in engineering polymers, plastics compounding, and extrusion processes to drive performance and growth. The successful candidate will align people, processes, and technology, build strong teams, and foster continuous improvement across all sites while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, business, or a related field.
• Significant progressive manufacturing leadership experience at executive level.
• Proven track record overseeing multi-site facilities and complex operations.
• Experience in engineering polymers, plastics compounding, and twin-screw extrusion.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute strategic operational plans aligned with growth and profitability.
• Provide executive leadership for manufacturing across all locations.
• Establish standards, expectations, and accountability across facilities.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, inventory, and supply chain.
• Lead engineering, process optimization, and capital investments.
