Job summary

Central Coast Community Energy (3CE) seeks an innovative, collaborative executive to lead internal operations in support of its mission to provide reliable, affordable clean electricity and electrification programs. The COO reports to the CEO and oversees multiple Director-level teams, including General Services, Finance, Energy Risk Management, and Data Analytics and Technology.

• Proven ability to develop staff, provide feedback, and manage managers.
• Experience designing and scaling operational and management systems.
• Strong budget, financial management, and governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the Director-level team and provide staffing decisions.
• Translate strategic direction into operational execution across departments.
• Develop and implement long-term financial goals, budgets, and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure operations comply with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Represent 3CE at community events and with external partners.
