Job summary

United Power seeks a strategically oriented SVP and COO to lead Operations, Engineering, and Safety, reporting to the CEO and serving on the Executive Leadership Team. The role focuses on transforming infrastructure, enhancing reliability, and driving safety culture across the utility.

You will oversee budgets, compliance with NERC CIP, and cross-functional programs; lead large-scale capital projects; partner with the CFO and Board on long-range plans; champion process improvements and emergency

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience at an executive level.
• Experience implementing large-scale transformational programs.
• Knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards and CIP requirements.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the ELT and participate in Board-level strategy discussions.
• Lead Operations, Engineering, and Safety with focus on reliability and safety culture.
• Oversee budgets, capital programs, and resource allocation for multiple departments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and governance across operational functions.
• Drive continuous improvement and coordination across departments during outages and emergencies.
