Job summary

New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to join the Executive Leadership Team. The COO will align operations across campus readiness, event delivery, and facility management to deliver safe, efficient, and exceptional experiences for guests and clients.

You will lead priorities, manage resources, and partner with the CEO and leadership to advance strategic goals, ensure continuity, and drive performance across infrastructure, safety, and guest services.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of organizational strategy through effective alignment of operational resources, infrastructure, systems, and services.
• Establish operational priorities, performance expectations, and service standards that support objectives and customer commitments.
• Direct the performance of the operational portfolio to meet current and future business requirements.
• Evaluate operational performance and implement strategies to improve effectiveness, service delivery, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.
• Advise the CEO and leadership on operational risks, opportunities, investments, and capabilities.
• Ensure operational disciplines function as an integrated enterprise for readiness and long-term success.
