Chief Operating Officer (COO) - HSCSN
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key leadership role within HSCSN, responsible for overseeing operational excellence across the organization. This executive ensures the strategic direction and performance of critical departments that form the operational backbone of the enterprise.
As part of the executive leadership team, the COO influences the organization’s ability to fulfill its mission through optimized operations. The role requires a transformational leader who balances operational efficiency with innovation, maintaining a focus on service quality and organizational growth.
Essential Job Duties:
- Oversee operational functions in the Health Plan, including Administrative Support, Claims Operations, Provider Relations and Network Management, Enrollee Services, Marketing, and Outreach.
- Lead growth initiatives in provider network and enrollment, supporting new market expansion.
- Optimize health plan operations, monitor KPIs, and manage administrative costs.
- Collaborate with IT to identify technology and automation solutions to enhance back-office scalability.
- Serve as a liaison to Shared Services and regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of the Health Plan and develop policies to achieve business goals.
- Maintain knowledge of local network development, provider relations, and compliance issues.
- Provide enterprise leadership, mentoring, and communication to ensure high performance.
- Establish influence within the Executive Leadership Team and with the Board of Directors.
- Lead projects related to operations, provider cost savings, and cross-organizational initiatives.
- Work with management to develop systems, processes, and personnel strategies for organizational growth.
