We are a fast-growing financial technology platform helping companies launch and scale embedded banking and finance products. By connecting fintechs with banks and providing the underlying infrastructure, we enable our partners to bring compliant, innovative financial services to market quickly. As we expand, we are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to drive operational excellence across the organization and help lead us through our next phase of growth.

The COO will report to the CEO and serve as a critical member of the executive team. This role requires a strong operator who can translate strategy into execution and bring structure and focus to a high-growth environment. The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of fintech operations with the leadership skills to scale teams, processes, and systems in a complex, regulated industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and scale core operational functions including program management, bank partnerships, compliance operations, risk, and customer success
• Work closely with the CEO and executive team to shape company strategy and translate it into actionable plans and cross-functional initiatives
• Build and optimize internal systems and workflows to ensure the business can scale efficiently and deliver a high-quality partner experience
• Drive operational rigor through data, KPIs, and continuous improvement practices
• Strengthen and manage key external relationships with banking partners and infrastructure vendors
• Ensure cross-functional alignment between product, engineering, compliance, and go-to-market teams
• Recruit and develop operational leadership across key areas of the business
• Support investor and board communications related to operational performance and scaling strategy

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in operations, general management, or a similar role with at least 5 years in senior leadership at a fintech, platform, or financial services company
• Proven success scaling operations in a high-growth, fast-changing environment
• Strong understanding of BaaS, embedded finance, or bank-fintech partnership models
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and aligning cross-functional stakeholders
• Track record of building repeatable systems and scalable processes across compliance-sensitive environments
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information and adjusting course quickly as needed

Bonus Points

• Experience managing bank or financial institution relationships
• Background in regulated industries or working directly with compliance and risk teams
• Familiarity with enterprise and startup customer segments and their operational requirements
