COO / Director of Operations (DTC eCom) – build the machine that ships 8 figures/yr worth of products faster

We’re Relaxe, an 8-figure, bootstrapped massage-chair + sauna brand growing 200% YoY. I need a true operator (not a project manager) to turn strategy into shipped outcomes: on-time product launches, accountable teams, and a CX engine that prints profit while I focus on growth levers. We’re hiring an Execution Operator/COO to serve as the founder’s right hand across all areas of the business—managing projects, teams, and processes with speed and accountability. You’ll sit across operations, creative, customer experience, and paid media, ensuring the entire machine runs without friction.

You’ll own execution across key initiatives, hold people accountable, improve systems, and ensure high-leverage ideas actually ship. This is a hands-on role for someone with sharp operational instincts, strong communication skills, and real eCom operating experience.

This is not a project manager role—it’s a business operator role for someone who’s owned outcomes across multiple functions and can think like a GM.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly execution across teams: creative, media buying, customer experience, operations, and product
• Translate founder strategy into prioritized, clearly scoped workstreams with deadlines and ownership
• Own company-level project tracking across new product launches, market expansion, performance marketing, and CX ops
• Identify blockers, resolve execution gaps, and continuously improve internal processes
• Manage and develop a remote team of 7+ (project managers, editors, creatives, CS, operations)
• Optimize SOPs, accountability structures, reporting systems, and hiring funnels
• Report directly to the founder with weekly execution recaps and issue escalation

Must-Have Experience

• 3+ years of senior operational experience at a high-growth eCommerce company or DTC brand (8-figure+ preferred)
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional remote teams and drive execution in creative + paid media workflows
• Strong grasp of DTC mechanics: paid acquisition, offer testing, creative pipelines, AOV/LTV, logistics, and CX
• Deep proficiency in project management tools like Notion, ClickUp, Airtable, or Asana
• Exceptional organizational skills with a bias toward clarity, speed, and ownership
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, prioritize well, and think like an owner
• Deep knowledge of Shopify

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to international eCom operations (UK/EU/AUS markets)
• Familiarity with paid media metrics (Meta/Google), funnel testing, and LTV/CAC frameworks
• Experience managing CS teams, shipping logistics, or vendor relationships
