Job summary

The SYGMA Network is seeking an experienced operations leader to direct a distribution center’s sales and product distribution to foodservice customers. The role drives efficiency, profitability, and customer service, with direct oversight of staff and daily operations on-site.

The ideal candidate will bring 10-15 years of distribution operations experience, strong leadership, and the ability to align center performance with company goals. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in operations distribution management with direct accountability for warehouse or transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive and supervise center operations to meet sales, expense, pretax income and asset return targets.
• Provide accurate reports and maintain customer service aligned with corporate philosophy.
• Hire, motivate and develop staff across warehouse, transportation, HR, safety and sales functions.
• Oversee timely order receipt, storage, and delivery of products to customers.
• Ensure assets are maintained in good, sanitary condition and manage capital expenditures decisions.
• Maintain punctual on-site presence and liaison with corporate office staff.
