Job summary

The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is seeking an experienced executive to serve as Chief of Ohio Pharmacy Services (OPS). This leadership role oversees inpatient, outpatient, and wholesale pharmacy operations across state agencies to support Ohio’s behavioral health system.

You will provide strategic direction, ensure regulatory compliance, drive operational excellence, and collaborate with physicians, agencies, and partners to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate core program in mental health & developmental disabilities technology, or social work, or comparable field.
• 24 months of experience in assessing consumers'/residents' needs & abilities as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• 12 months of training or experience in federal & state regulations governing care, custody, treatment, and environment of consumers/residents in state facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all OPS pharmacy and administrative operations statewide, including inpatient and outpatient pharmacy.
• Direct statewide planning, development, and marketing of OPS services within legal guidelines.
• Oversee budget development, payroll, receivables/payables, and financial performance.
