Job summary

United Water Restoration Group is seeking a proactive, long‑term contributor to join as a key partner to the Head of Business Development. The role spans growth, operations, recruiting, vendor development, and cross‑company collaboration across South Florida.

You will source opportunities, engage executives, manage client relationships, and help steer strategic initiatives with hands-on involvement in proposals, markets, and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of professional experience preferred.
• Construction or Mitigation experience is not required.
• Exceptional work ethic with a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail.
• Strong relationship-building instincts with the judgment to represent the company professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with executives, customers, subcontractors, referral partners, trade partners, and field personnel.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Willingness to travel throughout South Florida for meetings, client visits, project walkthroughs, and market-development activities.

Responsibilities

• Help identify and advance strategic growth opportunities across priority markets and customer segments.
• Build thoughtful target lists of property owners, property managers, municipalities, healthcare systems, schools, hospitality groups, referral partners, trade partners, and commercial clients.
• Support thoughtful, high-touch outreach and follow-up with prospective clients, referral sources, and strategic partners.
• Help register United Water Restoration Group with large corporations, government agencies, and institutional clients while maintaining organized records of contacts, opportunities, and next steps.
• Evaluate incoming bid, partnership, and market opportunities and help determine which are worth pursuing.
• Attend job walks, pre-bid meetings, industry events, and selected networking opportunities as a representative of United Water Restoration Group.
• Attend customer meetings, project walkthroughs, industry events, and other client-facing meetings.
• Assist with client communications, follow-up, relationship development, and next-step coordination.
• Help resolve customer issues and ensure exceptional service.
• Follow active projects from start to finish while coordinating with operations.
• Jump into whatever is needed to help the business succeed.
• Source, interview, and recruit exceptional employees.
• Coordinate hiring efforts across the business.
• Assist with onboarding and organizational development.
• Recruit and qualify new subcontractors throughout Florida.
• Expand and strengthen our subcontractor network.
• Negotiate pricing and service agreements.
• Build long-term vendor relationships.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable initiatives for our sister company, United Water Restoration Group.
• Support collections and customer follow-up.
• Help prepare operational and financial reporting.
• Coordinate special administrative and strategic projects.
• Work closely with both Air Force HVAC and United Water Restoration Group to share opportunities, coordinate cross-selling, improve customer follow-up and client experience.
