Job summary

Phoenix Tailings is seeking a Chief of Staff - Operations to own critical programs across the Operations organization and build the program management infrastructure needed to scale. You will turn commitments into executable workstreams, ownership, cadences, and controls while partnering with the COO and senior teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years leading complex programs or operational initiatives in manufacturing or related fields.
• Experience building program-management systems with schedules, cadences, controls and reporting.
• Ability to translate objectives into workstreams, milestones and accountable owners.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-functional Operations programs from scope to completion with milestones and outcomes.
• Build integrated schedules across Operations, Technology, Commercial, Finance and Manufacturing.
• Take end-to-end ownership of COO‑sponsored programs including scoping, planning, risk and executive reporting.
• Develop and maintain program-management infrastructure and accountability mechanisms.
• Lead execution against regulatory, compliance, contractual and government programs (e.g., CMMC 2.0).
• Drive procurement and supply chain initiatives aligned to production commitments.
• Identify risks early, escalate decisions quickly and ensure commitments are closed.
• Shape how Operations evolves to support next growth phase.
