VVater is seeking a Chief of Staff to operate the CEO's office and scale the company's execution in Austin. This onsite role requires hands-on leadership on the shop floor and in the boardroom, driving cross-functional initiatives across sales, marketing, ops, finance, engineering, and HR.

Formación

• 7+ years of operating experience in a hardware/manufacturing environment.
• 7+ years of stakeholder management, investor relations, fundraising or related.
• Demonstrated track record of building internal tools, systems, or processes.
• Hands-on fluency with modern AI tools and ability to prototype internal apps quickly.
• Cross-functional fluency across at least three areas (operations, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, marketing, finance, engineering, HR).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to draft investor letters, board memos, and customer emails.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Own the rhythm of how the company runs at the executive level, leadership meetings, planning cycles, all-hands, board prep.
• Set agendas, drive meeting discipline, capture decisions, assign owners, and follow up until items are closed.
• Maintain a real-time view of the CEO's top priorities and ensure time is allocated accordingly.
• Triage information into and out of the CEO's office, surface what matters, and filter what does not.
• Step into sales, marketing, operations, finance, engineering, and HR as needed for cross-functional execution.
• Build and document VVater's operating system, SOPs, policies, escalation paths, and decision frameworks.
• Lead internal tooling decisions; build dashboards, automations, and AI agent workflows.
• Deploy AI to automate reporting, document drafting, research, and routine operations.
• Stay at the edge of AI tooling and bring best of it into VVater's stack.
• Prepare decision briefs and synthesized recommendations on cross-functional issues.
• Attend meetings on behalf of the CEO; debrief with summaries and actions.
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, investors, lenders, and partners.
