Job summary

The Electric Plant Co. is seeking a Chief of Staff to align the business operations as the CEO focuses on strategic thinking.

You will coordinate finance, people ops, admin, vendors, and AI agent layers to run the company as a cohesive system, while also owning BD, marketing, and comms support until those functions mature. You’ll report to the CEO and ensure operational hygiene, investor updates, and external communications.

Qualifications

• Experience running business operations end-to-end in a small company with fractional teams.
• Ability to coordinate people who don’t report to you and drive them to deadlines.
• Proven track record producing customer- or investor-facing materials in a corporate or founder voice.
• Experience using AI agents or automation to support operational work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate finance, people ops, admin, vendors, and office operations as one system.
• Lead the internal AI operating system usage for business ops and evaluate delivery.
• Own inbound triage, pipeline hygiene, and customer visits scheduling/prep.
• Manage investor updates and PR/event logistics.
• Convert existing sales material into professional customer-facing packages.
