Job summary

Phathom Pharmaceuticals seeks a Chief of Staff and Strategic Program Management to act as the execution counterpart to the CEO. You will oversee critical initiatives, align leadership priorities, and ensure timely decisions across functions.

You will prepare executives, run operating rhythms, and leverage AI to accelerate synthesis, drafting, and tracking. Hybrid role based in Florham Park, NJ.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-workstream initiatives.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders without authority.
• Direct experience working with or supporting C-suite leaders.
• Real fluency with AI tools and applying them to work.
• Meticulous attention to detail with bias toward action.
• Clear, concise writing suitable for executive materials.
• Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Own how key initiatives progress, with milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
• Drive work forward across Leadership Team without formal authority.
• Represent the CEO and carry intent faithfully.
• Prepare the CEO with right material and framing for meetings.
• Design and manage operating rhythm including LT meetings and reviews.
• Leverage AI to compress synthesis, drafting, analysis, and tracking.
• Tackle analyses, diligence, competitive reviews, and one-off CEO desk tasks.
