Halluminate, an applied AI and data company, is hiring a Chief of Staff to own strategic initiatives and drive operational systems in San Francisco.

You will work with the CEO/CTO, build HR/onboarding, and create automated workflows with coding agents to scale from 10 to 25+ people.

This role offers significant leadership exposure, a temporary rotation of 1–1.5 years, relocation support, and competitive compensation.

Company Description:

Halluminate is an applied AI and data company working with frontier Labs to train Financial Services Super Intelligence. We do this by building high quality computer and tool-use RL (Reinforcement Learning) gyms to train AI agents that do work across financial services verticals (ex. excel modeling, powerpoint creation and more in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, etc.) and broader knowledge work (consulting, insurance, etc).

The company graduated from YCombinator (S25) and is scaling the team.

Role Description:

Halluminate is looking to hire a Chief of Staff to own strategic initiatives, set up operational systems, and drive horizontal priorities amongst the team.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Driving important initiatives across multiple domains and stakeholders in the company. You are an extension of the leadership team working with CEO/CTO to be a force of change when priorities come up. Some examples include important business partnerships, high leverage industry initiatives, selling important hires, running large company events, etc.

• Lead the buildout of company internal operations/processes as we scale from 10 to 25+ people in next 6 months. This includes building from scratch HR, Onboarding, Ops, and more.

• Switch between managing and detail-oriented IC. We expect our CoS to come in and build automated systems throughout the company using coding agents to accelerate growth and scale.

• Impactful culture and energy setter across the company. Build deep relationships with everyone, be an "always on" context connector across the company.

• IMPORTANT: We fully expect the CoS role to be a temporary 1 to 1.5 year rotation, with great candidates actively seeking a long term role owning a business unit/team within the company after their rotation as Chief of Staff. Huge opportunity to be horizontal across a fast growing company then pick out where you want to grow long term.

Necessary Skills Include:

• 2+ years in a high-intensity generalist environment — investment banking, consulting, early-stage startup ops/BizOps, founder experience, or a prior chief of staff seat

• Builder's instinct with AI tools: you already use coding agents and LLMs to automate your own work, and you're excited to build internal systems (dashboards, workflows, onboarding automations) yourself

• Extreme organization and follow-through — nothing you own gets dropped, and people learn to trust that

• Demonstrated history of actioning on ambiguous problem spaces and delivering strong outcomes

• Exceptional written and verbal communication
