Job summary

Alexandria City Public Schools is seeking an Executive Director of Support Operations to oversee daily operations for School Nutrition, Safety and Security Services, and Pupil Transportation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with policies and efficiency across services.

This exempt position demands extensive experience in operational management, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. Compensation will be determined according to the ACPS Support Administrator Salary Scale.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public administration or business administration is required.
• Ten (10) or more years of significant job-related experience may waive the educational requirement.
• Minimum ten (10) years of progressive operational management experience with direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of School Nutrition, Safety and Security Services, and Pupil Transportation.
• Ensure effective operations in accordance with board policies and legal requirements.
• Coordinate with department directors to develop budget tracking systems.
