Job summary

Veterans Health Administration in Omaha, NE, seeks a board-certified physician to serve as Chief of Rehabilitation and Extended Care. The role oversees the REC service line, directs patient care, teaching, and resident supervision, and aligns programs with VISN and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician in medicine or osteopathic medicine
• Must have MD/DO degree from LCME/COCA-accredited school or equivalent
• Eligible for licensure in any US state or territory

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee all REC services across VANWIHCS
• Provide direct patient care and supervise residents and staff
• Develop, implement and refine REC programs to meet clinical and administrative needs
• Lead collaboration with top management to support mission and policies
• Manage resources, space, equipment, and provider relations
