Job summary

Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) is seeking a bold Chief of Development to lead a newly structured Development Department in Nevada. The role focuses on revenue generation through grants, major gifts, recurring donors, events, and partnerships, while collaborating with ISP and CA to align funding with youth outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on fundraising with strategic vision, writes compelling grants, manages a diverse donor portfolio, and drives CRM implementation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit development.
• Proven success in grant writing with major funders.
• Experience leading fundraising across multiple revenue streams.
• Strong technical skills in CRM systems and fundraising technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead grants function: writing and managing complex proposals and mentoring staff.
• Design and execute diversified fundraising strategies (individual gifts, major gifts, events, sponsorships).
• Plan and oversee fundraising events and donor-engagement campaigns.
• Oversee Safe Place partnerships and community/youth outreach.
• Lead and develop the Development team and implement a new CRM system.
• Collaborate across departments to align funding with impact data and outcomes.
