Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a transformative Senior Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer to lead Lahey Clinic's nursing strategy within the BILH system. The SVP CNO will guide clinical quality, patient safety, staffing, and education while aligning with the ten‑year plan and system goals.

This executive will manage fiscal health, develop talent, and foster collaboration across departments, schools of nursing, and external partners to advance exceptional patient care and research.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing and Business Administration, Healthcare Finance or Hospital Administration is required.
• Doctoral degree preferred.
• Experience with large-scale healthcare operations and fiscal management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for nursing to ensure highest professional standards.
• Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, retention, and development of patient care teams.
• Collaborate with Quality/Safety and disease center leaders on quality improvement projects.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning and capital planning for Lahey Clinic within the BILH framework.
• Drive patient safety initiatives and adherence to regulatory standards (Joint Commission, CMS, DPH).
• Mentor and develop nursing leaders; foster cross-service line collaboration.
