Job summary

Texas Health Forney is recruiting a Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing practice, education and professional development across the hospital. The CNO will collaborate with the President and CMO to shape policies, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and implement data-driven improvements in patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and Master's in Nursing (MSN) required.
• 3–5 years senior-level hospital nursing leadership with Magnet/Pathways to Excellence focus.
• RN license in Texas required upon hire; Nursing Administration certification preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing management, quality improvement, financial analysis, strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for nursing practice, education, research and administration.
• Collaborate with medical-executive team, board and leadership to align strategy with patient care goals.
• Develop and implement policies, standards of care, and data-driven performance measures.
