Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing practice, ensure high-quality patient care, and drive strategic initiatives in a nationally recognized rehabilitation network.

The CNO will oversee staffing, policy development, and quality improvement, while collaborating with medical and therapeutic teams to deliver exceptional outcomes and a patient-centered culture at our Arlington, TX campus.

Qualifications

• Possess a current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a closely related field; higher degree preferred.
• Two years of recent nursing management experience with 24-hour accountability and budget oversight.
• Commit to obtaining CRRN certification within a year of eligibility.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality of nursing care across the hospital and ensure patient safety and outcomes.
• Lead staffing, budgeting, policy development, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Represent nursing on committees such as Governing Body, Quality Council, and Education.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the nursing staff.
