Job summary
Lifepoint Health has an opportunity for a Chief Nursing Officer overseeing Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky. The CNO will direct nursing standards and practice hospital-wide, ensuring timely nursing services and compliance with policies.
Qualified candidates will hold a Kentucky RN license with a BSN and an MSN or MHA preferred, plus 3–5 years CNO experience in investor-owned healthcare, strong budgeting, staff development, and collaboration with leadership to improve
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Kentucky.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; MSN or MHA preferred.
- 3–5 years of CNO experience in investor-owned healthcare.
- Experience with Joint Commission preparation and survey processes.
- Strong leadership, budgeting, and staff development skills.
Responsibilities
- Direct hospital nursing activities within hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensure continuous and timely nursing services to patients.
- Develop and manage the nursing budget.
- Leads Performance Improvement and quality assurance programs.
- Recruit and hire qualified nursing staff.
- Collaborate with hospital leaders to design patient care programs and ensure adequate nursing staff.
