Job summary

Lifepoint Health seeks a Chief Nursing Officer to oversee nursing at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. The CNO leads clinical strategy, staffing, and quality initiatives for the 107-bed facility.

The role requires a RN license, a Master’s degree (MSN or MHA), and 3–5 years of CNO experience in investor-owned healthcare. Experience with Joint Commission surveys is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with knowledge of nursing principles and practice standards.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's degree (MSN or MHA) preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of CNO-level experience in investor-owned healthcare.
• Experience with Joint Commission preparation and survey processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensures continuous and timely nursing services to patients.
• Directs hospital nursing activities within hospital policies and procedures.
• Develops, implements and maintains the hospital quality assurance and improvement program.
• Recruits, interviews, evaluates and hires qualified nursing personnel.
• Develops and manages the budget for nursing services.
• Prepares master nursing services staffing plan.
• Represents hospital in health care programs and professional organizations.
• Collaborates with leaders to design patient care and services.
