Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center invites applications for Chief of the Neuromuscular Division within the Department of Neurology. This leadership role focuses on strategic oversight of clinical care, research, education, and faculty development, including collaboration with ALS and EMG programs.

The Chief will drive excellence in patient care and scholarly activity, shaping growth and fiscal stewardship across ambulatory and diagnostic neurophysiology services.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree with board certification in Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a strategic vision for the division’s clinical, research, educational, and academic missions.
• Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain faculty, advanced practice providers, trainees, and staff while fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture.
• Oversee clinical quality, safety, access, and growth across ambulatory, multidisciplinary, and electrodiagnostic programs.
• Promote scholarly productivity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and clinical research.
• Grow neuromuscular clinical research and trial enrollment with ALS leadership.
