Job summary

Aldevron, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Vice President to lead the mRNA CDMO portfolio from Fargo, ND with remote work options. You will drive strategic direction, growth, and profitability while building a high-performing product management team across functions.

You will partner with Commercial, R&D, Operations, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Strategy to align resources and priorities, influencing senior stakeholders and steering portfolio transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 13+ years of experience in product management, strategic marketing, commercial leadership, business strategy, or general management within life sciences.
• Experience leading managers and senior professionals in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Proven ability to develop and execute portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and cross-functional governance.
• Strong business acumen with experience driving revenue growth and profitability.
• Track record of influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
• FDA-regulated industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction for the mRNA portfolio with accountability for growth and profitability.
• Establish portfolio priorities, pricing strategies, and lifecycle plans aligned with market opportunities.
• Translate insights and industry trends into differentiated value propositions and roadmaps.
• Build and develop a high-performing product management team through senior leaders.
• Establish governance connecting product strategy to operating plans and revenue growth.
• Partner with Commercial, R&D, Operations, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Strategy leaders to align resources.
• Serve as executive spokesperson for the mRNA portfolio and engage key customers and partners.
