Job summary

ArteraAI is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) with oncology expertise to define and drive the medical strategy for our AI-based prostate cancer test. The role requires translating clinical insights into company direction, building a high-quality data pipeline, and forging collaborations with academic partners and key opinion leaders.

You will shape the medical strategy, lead physician leadership teams, and align clinical impact with business goals while communicating with clinicians,

Qualifications

• 2 years of industry leadership experience.
• 3 years of people and/or laboratory management experience.
• Willing to travel up to 30% per month for conferences, leadership team meetings, clinician engagements.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a medical vision aligned with clinical opportunities and commercial strategy.
• Oversee clinical data pipeline and cultivate academic partnerships and KOL networks.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to translate clinical insights into portfolio strategy and decisions.
• Lead teams to design, conduct, and interpret clinical studies supporting product development and educate clinicians on medical impact.
