Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated seeks a Chief Medical Officer for Health Systems & Strategic Partnerships. Based in Secaucus, NJ (hybrid), you will lead enterprise clinical strategy, engage with health system leaders, and steer medical due diligence for acquisitions and collaborations.

You will oversee clinical governance, standardization, and integration post-transaction, ensuring strategic alignment with growth objectives and patient care quality.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active Board Certification in a recognized clinical specialty.
• MBA, MHA, or equivalent advanced degree in business or healthcare administration is strongly preferred.
• Must possess (or be eligible for) an unrestricted medical license.
• 10+ years of senior-level clinical leadership experience.
• Proven experience in medical due diligence, M&A, Co-Lab and/or large-scale clinical integrations.
• Strong external engagement with CMOs and health system leaders.
• Forward-thinking with AI and digital health tools in clinical settings.
• Advanced communication to influence C-suite and enterprise strategy.
