What You Will Do - Essential Functions

The Chief Medical Officer is a key member of the Executive team, shaping Lucet’s strategic direction and long-term vision. This role involves leading the development of clinical strategy, focusing on behavioral health and medical/behavioral health integration. The CMO provides medical oversight, expertise, and leadership to ensure quality healthcare delivery, develop innovative clinical programs, and collaborate with the commercial team to enhance member care and manage population health.

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and guide vision and strategy for behavioral health and integrated care; contribute to business development; use data and industry trends for innovation.
• Clinical Oversight: Oversee physician review processes; develop clinical policies; oversee care transitions and quality programs.
• Quality Improvement: Lead peer reviews; ensure compliance; participate in quality initiatives.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor Medical Directors; promote professional growth; review policies and medical advancements.

Who You Are

• Required Qualifications: MD or DO degree; active, unrestricted license; board certification in psychiatry or relevant specialty; 10+ years clinical experience, 5+ years leadership, 5+ years managed care experience; knowledge of healthcare systems, behavioral health conditions, and regulatory matters; ability to travel up to 25%.
