Overview

Chief Medical Officer – Solid Tumor Cell Therapy

East Coast USA | Hybrid or Remote

I'm partnering exclusively with a well-funded, next-gen cell therapy biotech developing non–CAR-T therapies for solid tumors. With a lead asset entering clinical development, they’re seeking a CMO to lead clinical strategy, FIH trials, and regulatory engagement through to late-stage development.

Responsibilities
  • Lead clinical strategy, first-in-human trials, and late-stage development plans for solid tumor cell therapies.
  • Oversee regulatory engagement, IND strategy and interactions with the FDA.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to shape development milestones and go-to-market timing.
Qualifications
  • MD required.
  • 8+ years in clinical development.
  • Proven track record in solid tumor trials.
  • Experience in cell therapy; experience in NON CAR-T cell therapy preferred (e.g., iPSC, NK, TCR, γδ T cells).
  • Strong FDA interaction and IND leadership.
