Job summary

Epirus is seeking a Vice President of Marketing and Communications within the Strategy function, reporting to senior leadership. You will shape and externalize Epirus' core messaging, vision, and positioning, building a structured, measurable marketing approach with clear objectives and reporting.

You will direct an internal design house and lead trade shows, events, and thought leadership for senior leaders, while managing a small team and coordinating investor relations narratives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• 10+ years of marketing/communications/public relations with executive-partnered messaging.
• Strategic communicator who translates big ideas into clear themes.
• Experience building external narratives, media relations, and press strategy.
• Gov/defense media relations experience preferred.
• Ability to implement structured marketing frameworks and reporting.
• Comfort directing external/internal creative partners, not hands-on production.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape and externalize Epirus' core messaging, vision, and positioning with executive leadership.
• Build and control the external narrative, including media relations and public communications.
• Develop relationships with government/defense media personnel.
• Propose structured objectives, frameworks, and marketing reporting.
• Direct internal design partners for brand work; external focus emphasized.
• Lead trade shows, industry events, and thought leadership for senior leaders.
• Support investor relations narratives and relationship management.
• Manage events lead and two reports.
• Stay aware of international/domestic/industry news impacting Epirus.
• Track competitors/partners/news and report findings.
• Perform other tasks to support company objectives.
