Job summary

MetOx International, Inc. is seeking a Head of Manufacturing at our Houston headquarters to lead the manufacturing organization, aligning Production, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, and Yield to convert advanced superconducting technology into scalable, safe, and reliable production.

The role requires an executive capable of on-the-floor leadership, leveraging data to drive decisions, and building a culture of accountability across functions while expanding capacity and delivering on production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience leading multiple manufacturing functions in a technically complex environment.
• Demonstrated success building disciplined manufacturing organizations and improving safety, quality, yield, throughput, cost, and delivery performance.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assesses pilot line team and establishes accountability across functions.
• Develops and executes a manufacturing strategy for repeatable high-yield production.
• Establishes KPIs, reviews, and escalation protocols for consistent execution.
• Builds site-level structures and onboarding for new manufacturing locations.
• Leads Production to meet manufacturing plans and delivery commitments.
• Leads Maintenance with focus on equipment reliability and preventive maintenance.
• Leads Quality and Yield with roadmaps and root-cause analysis.
• Partners with Engineering and R&D to ensure production readiness.

Education
