Job summary

MetOx International, based in Houston, TX, seeks a Head of Manufacturing to lead Production, Maintenance, EHS, Quality and Yield, turning breakthrough superconducting tech into scalable, safe production.

This executive uses data to drive decisions, builds leaders, and aligns Manufacturing with Engineering and R&D to deliver robust, repeatable operations across sites in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing or operations experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading multi-shift operations and scaling remote manufacturing.
• Experience in high-precision manufacturing industries such as semiconductors or superconductors.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production and site operations to meet manufacturing plans and customer commitments.
• Establish KPIs, governance, and escalation protocols across sites.
• Develop leadership and hiring plans for new locations and complex manufacturing environments.
• Partner with Engineering and R&D to define manufacturing readiness criteria.
• Drive safety, quality, yield, cycle time, and equipment reliability improvements.
• Ensure EHS compliance and disciplined change control and documentation.
