Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Facilities Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ progressive maintenance management experience in poultry/food processing or related manufacturing.
• Proven track record of leading large, multi-site operations with complex equipment and automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, food safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience with budgeting, project management, and capital planning.
• Proficiency with CMMS, data analytics, and process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement overarching maintenance strategy aligned with company goals and production schedules.
• Lead long-term asset management planning, facility upgrades, and technology integration.
• Collaborate with COO to forecast CAPEX, resources, and future maintenance needs.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime and lifespan.
• Ensure reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for maintenance performance: response times, completion rates, costs.
• Schedule and execute maintenance to minimize production disruption.
• Direct and mentor maintenance directors, managers, supervisors, technicians, across sites.
• Foster a high-performance culture with training, coaching, and recognition.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, vendor contracts, and parts procurement.
• Lead safety programs, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Drive continuous improvement through best practices and automation adoption.
• Communicate maintenance performance and risks to executive team; liaise with stakeholders.
